Pretty fly for a cacti

Here to claim Indoor Gardener!  Our house is usually where indoor plants come to die. However, I have been keeping these plants for several years- I’ve had the Christmas Cactus for around 15 years, the succulents were sent to me in the post 3 years ago and have been sprouted/been repotted a few times (most recently last November) and the orchids (technically my mum’s but I keep them going) have lived here a few years.  My Christmas Cactus getting a trim I created a chart to show how much light and water they all need:  I generally soak the orchids to water them but here are 3 different ways to water them: I occasionally use BabyBio Orchid food when I water the orchids, this really should be done when there is active growth add/or flowers.  I am going to get some cactus and succulent food for the others in the spring, that’s when the growing period should happen. Butterfly Effect

It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly’s wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world . - Chaos Theory Well, I don’t know about a typhoon; but this was the perfect challenge to kick-start my year of merit badge work.  I was starting to get a bit bogged down with plans to begin badges but actually never really got them underway. I told myself this was okay because I’ve only been Rebelling for a few months… who was I kidding? Just start them woman!  At least 6 clauses to be completed for the badge: 1) Write a daily journal of something that made me happy each day. I wrote these in my diary each day, here’s a selection:  A lovely roast dinner My nephew’s drawing and writing (he’s 5, it’s adorable!) Hearing my Chihuahua Elsie snoring Going to my first Rebellion meeting (what a fab group of people!)
